Where is my application?

You can see any application created in Objective Build where you are a participant, and you have View level access or higher.

Use the search function to find applications in lists.

If you cannot see an application, then the most likely reason is one of these:

  • you are not a participant and the applicant is not a member of your organisation

  • you are a participant but your access level is set to No access

  • your profile email address does not match the one set on the participant record

  • your council is not yet using Objective Build

Accessing applications

  1. Contact the person who created the application, usually the owner or an agent assigned by the owner, and ask them to add you as a participant and set your access level to View, Edit or Manage.

  2. If you are already listed as a participant on the application, confirm the email address used to add you to the application is the same one you are using to log in to Objective Build. If necessary, they can modify the participant details or even delete the existing participant and add you as a new participant.

  3. If you cannot get the agent / owner to change the email address used on the participant record but you still have access to the old email address mailbox, then you can merge the old email address into your new account using Organisation functionality. See How can I change my email address for more information.

Applications created in other systems

You can see applications that were started in Simpli, GoGet or AlphaOne when the associated building consent authority (BCA) completes migration of their applications into Objective Build.

  1. If you are the owner or agent on an application started in another system and it is not visible in Objective Build, please contact your BCA to check it has been migrated.

  2. If the application has been migrated, please ask your BCA to check the email address stored against the application is your current email address.

Note:  Applications created in Simpli are migrated without collaborator data. Please contact the Objective Support team | 0800 024 508 for help to add participants to applications. Objective Build applicant support is available Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm excluding public holidays. Please have your application or consent number to hand before contacting the support team.
